NEW EVENT: WOMEN OF THE RIVERINA
Think you know Riverina women? Think again.
Come on a bold journey through time with Women of the Riverina — where story, movement, music and film collide. From ancient times through wartime resilience to the frantic of today, these are the voices you haven’t heard — until now.
Ten original stories written by local women burst to life — punchy, funny, raw and deeply moving — brought to the stage by outstanding actors and movement artists. Award-winning Australian composer Elizabeth Jigalin’s evocative score weaves through striking new film by Noni Carroll, made especially for this production, creating a rich and unforgettable theatrical experience.
Set inside the historic beauty of Tumut’s Montreal Theatre, the venue becomes part of the storytelling — intimate, atmospheric, alive.
Arrive early, meet the artists, and enjoy a drink before the show — then settle in for a performance that will stay with you long after the lights fade.

Storymaking Workshop for Local Women
First Nations and Multicultural Women Focus
Do you have a story you’d like to share?
We warmly invite you to join us for a welcoming and supportive day of creativity, connection and conversation. Together we’ll explore storytelling, share ideas, and enjoy a cuppa or chai while creating podcasts and shaping stories from our community.
This relaxed workshop is open to all women, with a special welcome to women from First Nations and multicultural communities. Our creative facilitators will guide you in a safe, encouraging space where every voice matters.
Your story may become part of the Women of the Riverina performance — if you choose. Most importantly, you’ll experience the joy of sharing stories, meeting new people, and creating something meaningful together.
Come along, connect, and discover the power of your story when we make it together.
