The Falling Leaf Festival is a community-run event. Our committee is made up of community members and local business people, who work throughout the year to organise the event, apply for grants, seek sponsorship and plan for the future.

At Festival time we band together a few more willing volunteers to helps us with specific tasks, and we could always do with more helpers!

Volunteers take on a variety of roles. Here are just some of the tasks our valuable volunteers undertake:

• providing visitor information at the Festival Office during the event and selling merchandise

• assisting with co-ordinating the markets bump-in/out

• keeping the sites tidy throughout the day

• setting up and packing away seating

• site set up and pack down

• ushering at the Comedy Gala

• transporting items to and from our storage facility

• brainstorming ideas!

For insurance purposes, all volunteers must be over 18 years of age.

If you have some time to offer to the Falling Leaf Festival, we’d love to hear from you. If you have any specific skills that could be of use, that’s terrific too!

People with utes and trailers are always handy.
