Army 70s sounds
The Australian Army Band Kapooka consists of 28 soldier-musicians with the mission to enhance the image of the Australian Army through community and military engagement. Their engagements and activities include providing musical support and entertainment to Army activities, exercises and deployments in Australia and overseas. They provide a diverse array of musical support, ranging from march out parades for Army’s newest soldiers, to contemporary music in schools and around the Riverina community.
We are excited to have Army Band Kapooka back at Falling Leaf Festival in Tumut. They’ll be participating in our Street Parade and bringing a big 1970s band sound to the Tumut River Brewing Co. Wynyard Street Stage on Saturday 2 May.
